Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to this website and is offered by The Spastic Children's Association of Selangor & Federal Territory.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and, if you give it, your telephone number.
- Reservations — the contact name, email and telephone number for the booking, and anything you tell us about dietary requirements or access needs.
- Orders — the delivery address and contact details for the order, and what you bought.
- Messages — what you send us through the contact form.
- Technical information — the IP address a sign-in or enquiry came from, kept so we can identify abuse.
What we do not hold
We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we keep only a reference to the transaction.
Why we hold it
To manage your account, to run the event you have booked, to fulfil and deliver your order, to answer your enquiry, and to keep the site secure. Information you give about dietary requirements or access needs is used to make arrangements for that event and nothing else.
Who else sees it
Association staff who need it to do their work, and the suppliers who host the site, deliver our orders and process our payments. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Our home page embeds social media feeds. Those are supplied by a third party and may set cookies in your browser; if you would rather they did not, most browsers and content blockers can prevent it.
How long we keep it
Account, reservation and order records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as we need them for our accounts and records. Enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period after.
Your choices
You can see and correct your details, and manage your saved addresses, from your account at any time. To ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected, or to have your account closed, write to info@scasft.org.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to the control panel is limited to staff accounts, and changes made there are logged.
Children
Accounts on this site are for adults. Where we publish photographs of the children in our care, we do so with the consent of their families.
